In a desperate bid to stop the outbreak of a deadly virus, Alice (Milla Jovovich), a secret agent with amnesia, is sent to an underground research facility known as Umbrella Corporation. The facility, responsible for creating the deadly T-virus, has mysteriously gone dark, and it's up to Alice to uncover what's happening. Upon arrival, Alice discovers that the virus has escaped containment, transforming most of the facility's inhabitants into ravenous zombies. The creatures, driven by an insatiable hunger for flesh, roam freely, with only a handful of survivors left to fight for their lives.
